Evaluating Bridget Mendler

Lowest note: D3
Highest belt:  F5
Highest note: D6
Exclamation: N/A
Vocal range: 3 octaves
Vocal grade: A

Vocal Positives:
Bridgit possesses an airy voice and an unforced vibrato, allowing her to reach low notes like Eb3 pretty effortlessly. Her voice has been compared to Carly Rae Jepsen and Demi Lovato. Her belts from C5-F5 are relatively accessible live.

Vocal Negatives:
Her high notes from E5 and above are thin. Bridgit has little stamina in live settings, which is surprising for an apparently trained singer. Therefore, she runs out of breath easily and this causes her voice to be shaky live. This also causes her to have difficulty in holding notes for an extended period of time. Notes below Eb3 are normally perceived as forced.

Vocal range of Bridget Mendler is D3 to D6

Starring as a dancer on Shake It Up, she has the ability to dance and sing at the same time without becoming too breathless. Her strongest range is probably from G3-Eb5.

She goes off-key at some points in her songs because she dances vigorously and this might mislead people to thinking that she lip-syncs when she is in tune for the entire song. Her voice is breathy when she sings with acoustics and she struggles at notes D5 and above. Her voice is generally whiny as it goes up the fifth octave.

This is her current vocal range, I would confirm again when her second album is released

Her voice is recognisable and she has an interesting ability to manipulate her voice to different genres of music but at the same time maintain her instantly recognisable voice. Her strongest range is from G3-C5, where her midrange lies.

Vocal Negatives:
Britney Spears has a very nasal voice and her voice quality gets thinner as she goes higher, starting from C#5. She heavily relies on lip syncing and autotune owing to the fact that smoking has damaged her voice aggravated a bit by aging as well. Her notes below G3 are no longer as well-supported as before.

Britney Spears vocal range: G2 to Eb6

Evaluating Taylor Swift

Lowest note: E3(forced C3)
Highest belt:  D5
Highest note: E5
Exclamation: F#5
Vocal range: 2 octaves
Vocal grade: D

Vocal Positives:
Taylor has a tendency to utilise her strongest range (F3-A4) in her songs a lot. Her voice can go from being gentle to being harsh very quickly. Her voice can also cut through steely instrumentation without difficulty.

Vocal Negatives:
Her voice is whiny as it goes from Bb4 to E5. It contains no power at all in the fifth octave and she has the tendency to go off-key often in live settings. Although improving vastly since her first beginnings as a singer, she has been found to struggle at belts like C#5 live.

Her vocal range( belting range only) - does not include exclamation

Evaluating Selena Gomez

Lowest note: A2(imitating Johnny Cash)
Highest belt:  E5
Highest note: F#5
Highest note: B5
Selena Gomez vocal range:  2 octaves 4  notes 1 semitone
Grade: D

Vocal positives:
Selena has a dark timbre that allows her to sing low notes(D3-F3) without much difficulty. Her mid-range(G3-C5) is her strongest range as this is when her belts are more solid.

Vocal negatives:
Her stamina is sub-par live and she heavily relies on auto-tune to spice up her singing. In live settings, she struggles at notes such as Eb5 live while doing little body movement. Her chest voice gets weaker very quickly as it ascends to the fifth octave. Her F#5 was never heard live, so it can be suspected to be an exclamation instead of a sung note. Overall, she has a weak and whiny voice.

This is her vocal range now. She is currently still developing on it

Evaluating Ariana Grande

Lowest note: Eb3(forced C#3)
Highest belt:  B5
Highest note: E7
Exclamation: N/A
Vocal range: 4 octaves 1 semitone
Grade:A*

Vocal Positives:
Ariana Grande has a relatively powerful voice and has the ability to go to notes as high as Bb5 in live settings with little difficulty, Armed with a 4 octaves 1 semitone vocal range, this girl has proven herself to be able to utilise the whistle registers live for notes C6 and above. Her low notes(Eb3 to G3) are gentle and sweet.

Vocal negatives:
Her whistle register is very unreliable - she has admitted to struggling with it. Whistle tones above E6 are rarely used in live settings as she often replaces it with a powerful falsetto. She has received flack for possessing a high larynx and extreme nasality in her songs. Due to the fact that she sings through her nose, diction is compromised and therefore her lyrics are incomprehensible at points. She is barely audible from notes F#3 and below.

This is Ariana Grande's vocal range(forced range included)

Evaluating Demi Lovato

Lowest note: C3
Highest belt: A5(screamed Bb5 before)
Highest note: E6
Exclamation: E7
Vocal range: 3 octaves 2 notes
Grade: A*

Vocal positives:
Demi lovato is a soprano who has a great rasp and a surprisingly well supported low range(C#3-E3) with a smokey texture to them. Her belts are where she truly shines - where she is able to truly emote her words, for example, she utilised a G5 belt in Skyscraper. Her voice is very reminiscent of Hayley Williams and Kelly Clarkson. She could do the whistle register(Eb6) unintentionally once in a keek video, thus proving that she has the ability to try out whistle tones. Her midrange (G3-F#5) is her strongest range, where her belts have the most power and resonance to them.

Vocal Negatives:
Demi Lovato's belts above E5 can be perceived as shouting and her belts can be a hit or miss live, even though she is getting better at controlling her belts F5 and above, it still sounds shrill and forced. Her low notes are hard for her to do live and she is barely audible from notes below E3.

                                                  Current studio range (belting range)

Demi Lovato - Head/Falsetto/Exclamation - from Eb5 to E7
